The Daniel 7 Beasts represent both a kingdom and it's king.
But in Revelation 13, God separates the kingdom and the king into two separate Beasts.
REVELATION 13:1-10
THE CHURCH IS NOW PART OF SATAN'S KINGDOM
THE FIRST BEAST THAT ARISES FROM THE SEA
The Church now arises from out of the sea from which it was cast into
THIS FINAL GREAT TRIBULATION BEGINS... 1988
Satan is allowed to take over the Church under his authority.
Matthew 24:15-16 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
The sand of the sea
John describes himself as standing upon the sand of the sea. The sand of the sea represents a multitude of something (ex. Romans 9:27), or a barrier against the sea (Jeremiah 5:22). In this vision, John is standing on safety of dry ground (the Church Age during his time) and witnessing the future end of the Church and the rise of the corrupt Church which was the start of this Final Great Tribulation.
Jeremiah 5:22 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
The sea
He now witnesses the rising of the Beast out of the sea. The sea specifically represents the state of being for the living multitudes of people throughout scripture that are not saved. Only the living unsaved dwell within the sea. Those whom are living and unsaved are within the sea (the living hell) but those unsaved whom have died are within hell. This is why the disciples pulled the net full of fish out of the sea and onto dry land (John 21:11). A representation of salvation, the fishes representing people. And this is also why Jesus walked on the water. He was both above it and not of it. Now that the Holy Spirit has left the Church, the unsaved from the sea arise to power within the Church.
Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
The Beast
This Beast that arises from the sea is Satan's kingdom. We see this described in Daniel 7:23 and in Revelation 17:9. And since it comes from the sea we know that his kingdom consists of the multitudes of unsaved people that arise to power. These unsaved that arise to power are those within the congregation.
Daniel 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
Daniel 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth (that arose from the sea), which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
Seven Heads
Scripture tells us that the seven heads are seven mountains. Each mountain is a separate empire in Satan's kingdom. The Assyrian Empire, the Babylonian Empire, the Persian Empire, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, then, no empire was granted by God to Satan during the Church Age (the sixth head slain almost to death), and this final seventh head... the Church Empire. This final head was the Church mountain that was cast into the sea then arose again with the whole of Satan's kingdom... this First Beast.
Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Ten Crowned horns
God tells us in Revelation 17 that the ten crowned horns are upon the last head. These are the unsaved within the corrupt Church congregation that rise to power. The Elect always ruled as kings with God but the unsaved portion of the congregation have never ruled as kings with God during the Church Age. But now do, under Satan's authority.
Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
These 10 crowned horns can be viewed the same way as the 10 tribes of Israel that did not follow God.
Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
A leopard, a bear, a lion
This first Beast is a combination of all the Beast empires within Daniel 7. This is Satan's full kingdom throughout history described.
Daniel 7:4 The first was like a lion...
Daniel 7:5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear...
Daniel 7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard...
Notice that they are all predators. They are here to devour.
and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
This first Beast is not Satan himself because Satan is called the Dragon. And we see that it is the Dragon that gave this Beast its power and authority. It is the Church. The Church's godly power, holy kingly throne and sacred authority was taken away by God. Those three were given back to it by Satan under his authority. The word "seat" is always mentioned as a king's judgment seat within the New Testament.
Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
Acts 25:10 Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

This verse along with verse 1 verifies that it is the same Beast as in Revelation 17 to which the Great Whore is riding upon. Because we now see that it has 7 heads and that the sixth head that was during the Church Age was given a death blow. It is now healed because Satan's physical kingdom is once again allowed to rise to power. The following verse concerns Satan receiving the death blow at the Cross during the Church Age...
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Who are "they"?
"They" are the 10 crowned horns. They are the congregation. The unsaved portion of the congregation under Satan's authority. We see in the verse below how God makes us kings...
Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
So too, they reign as kings with Satan...

worshipped the Dragon
When God had left the Church so did His power and authority. Satan took over the Church and annexed it to his kingdom. The Dragon (Satan) was now the power and authority of the Church. The congregation now unknowingly worship the Dragon (Satan).
Daniel 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

Just as a President is in command of a whole country and the people pledge allegiance to that President and their country, so too, the congregation worship Satan and their Church doctrine over the Word.
Matthew 15:8-9 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Who is like unto the Beast?
Here the unsaved are glorifying the corrupt Church thinking it's authority is still from God. Thinking they are saved under salvation (albeit Satan's false salvation). The Jews even declared their glory in scripture.
Deuteronomy 33:29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Given unto him
We now know that Satan (the Dragon) took over the Church as it's authority and is now annexed as his kingdom (this First Beast). What is the mouth of the church? It is the leaders and it's congregation. It is this mouth that is speaking blasphemies because the unsaved (from the sea) within the Church are given power and authority to lead for the remaining period of time until the End. Remember that the unsaved did not have the power and authority during the Church Age. But now do.
Revelation 13:2 "...and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."
Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Who is opening their mouth? This First Beast which is the Church, but specifically the 10 crowned horns... the leaders and congregation. How are they blaspheming God? They are worshipping Satan as God, as he became king of the Church instead of God. They are calling themselves christians but are not. The Lord shows us this in the Church of Smyrna:
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And it was given unto him
The first 2300 Days [Daniel 8:14 (1988-1994)] was like a civil war within the Church. It's new king, Satan (the Dragon) was in authority. It is him that "gives" in verses 5 and 7. But we must keep in mind that it is ultimately God whom allows Satan to arise and gives authority. Since God had now forsaken the Church, it was no longer God's kingdom. Now that Satan took over, he now decieves his new unsaved kings to take control of doctrine. This is the "war with the saints" that is spoken of.

Revelation 13:2 "...and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."
Revelation 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Again, scripture tells us that the unsaved congregation (those from the sea) worship this First Beast from the sea (the Church & it's corrupt doctrines). Church doctrine is their truth above the Word of God (Jesus). Thereby worshipping the Church and its king, Satan.
Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast.
Revelation 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Only God's people can see the corruption and understand.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me
Isaiah 50:5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
But the unsaved can not hear the truth.
Matthew 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive
Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Captivity
This is describing the 10 crowned horns of this First Beast (the Church's congregation) as it broadcasts it's false doctrine. Their false doctrine leads people to be enslaved to sin (captivity)... no salvation.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised
The Sword
To be killed by the sword is to kill by scripture. The sword is scripture. They unknowingly use scripture to kill with their false doctrines. But in the End, it is they whom will be slain.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
Patience
This is the full 2300 Days [Daniel 8:14 (1988-1994)] to which the saints had to wait before salvation was once again available on a grand scale outside the Church.
Revelation 6:9-10 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Conclusion: All the evidence above shows that the First Beast is Satan's kingdom. Every one of Satan's past empires were actual physical empires. Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, and Roman. The only one that was'nt, was the 6th head which was given a death blow during the Church Age. Satan had no physical empire during the Church Age. The Church is Satan's seventh empire. Seven heads/seven empires.
1. The First Beast came from the sea
All unsaved living people are within the sea. Satan's kingdom is the unsaved.
2. The First Beast is declared a kingdom
Daniel 7 describes all Satan's different Beasts coming from the sea as kingdoms.
3. The First Beast is a combination of all Satan's previous Beasts
The description of all Satan's Beasts in Daniel 7 match this first Beast's description.
4. The First Beast is not Satan himself
Satan as the Dragon gives this First Beast it's power under his authority.
5. The First Beast had no power, authority, seat, vocal mouth or ability to make war
The Dragon gave the First Beast all of it's abilities including to make war with saints.
6. The First Beast is the same Beast in which the Great Whore is riding

7. The First Beast is not only the physical Church but also it's congregation
The ten crowned horns are the congregation of unsaved multitudes from the sea.
+ Now that we have been shown that this First Beast is Satan's kingdom lets take a look at one last part of scripture...
Psalm 65:6-7
Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power: Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
The above verses are declaring that the LORD setteth up kingdoms (mountains) and that He gives these kingdoms power. This power is to control the people (waves of the seas). Now lets compare this again to Revelation 13:2&5 at the top of this page where Satan gives his kingdom power...
Satan has done the same thing. Although he did not set up the kingdom, he was allowed to take it over (the Church). And gave his kingdom power to control the people (waves of the sea) just as God does (see below).

The Church and congregation Satan as king under his authority
Revelation 13 tells us that the First Beast arose from the sea and the Second Beast arose from the earth.
But where did they originate from before they arose?
The Church is cast into the sea
Revelation 8:9 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
Satan is cast into the bottomless pit
Revelation 20:3
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
The Church becomes the seventh empire (head)

Satan is released from the bottomless pit and is allowed to rise to power.
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Up out of the earth
Remember, that the First Beast arose from the sea which represented Satan's Kingdom. The Church was cast as a burning mountain into the sea and then rose up out of the sea with Satan's kingdom as the seventh head. But this second Beast arises from the earth which represents Satan as king of his kingdom. Daniel 7 tells us that kings arise from the earth. Satan was cast into the bottomless pit but then arose from the earth to be king over his kingdom. We also see this in Revelation 17:10. Every kingdom needs a king over it. Therefore, the first and second Beasts arise together at the same time.
Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
Satan is mimicking Jesus as the king within the Church.
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Two horns like a lamb
Jesus is not only the King but also the Lamb (Savior). By Satan taking control of the kingdom (Church), he not only becomes it's king but also the false lamb (false christ / the Anti-christ).
Revelation 13:11 is establishing what this Second Beast is. The Beast itself is acting as god, king of the Church. It's two lamb horns represent the power of the evil spirit (False Prophet & false christ)... Satan's version of the Holy Spirit & Lamb of God. Notice the 2 horns of a lamb. The Passover requires a lamb under a year old. Jesus was the final Passover Lamb as our Savior. Lambs begin to develop horns at 2 years old. This lamb can not offer salvation because it has horns. This is the false christ, the false savior, the false jesus, the Anti-christ.
He spake as a dragon
Following the verse below in Ezekiel which clearly shows how the Lord connects a dragon to a king, we can easily understand the phrase, "... spake as a dragon...", describing this Second Beast as a king.
Ezekiel 29:3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
ALL THE VERSES HENCEFORTH SHOW HIS COMMANDING AUTHORITY
Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
He exerciseth (G4160)
Revelation 13:12 is describing and expanding on the power of this king beast. Notice it does not state that this Second Beast also has all the same power as the First Beast, but instead states that he (this Second Beast) exerciseth or executes all the power of the First Beast. He is the king that directs the power and authority of the First Beast.
The greek word translated as "exerciseth" (G4160) shows up 8 times as an action of this Second Beast. It means "to do, to make, to execute, to perform" and is also translated as "hath done", "had done". Although the First Beast kingdom (the Church) had been given the power or authority by Satan, that power or authority can only be carried out or executed by the leadership...the king. The king is this Second Beast.
Luke 8:39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done (G4160) unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done (G4160) unto him.
And causeth (G4160)
Paul (1Thessalonians 2:13) and Jesus (Matthew 15:9) both speak of the Gospel of the Holy Spirit and that of another corrupt gospel, of men. A person worships whence the gospel comes from. It's either the worship of God or of man. Satan as king causes the congregation to worship the traditions and rituals of the corrupt Church (the First Beast). Jesus Himself spoke of this doctrine of men.
1Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Revelation 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

We see here that it is this Second Beast that executes the authority to do and to make things happen. This phrase, "... he maketh fire come down from heaven...", is showing us that this Second Beast also represents The False Prophet. Elijah called down fire from Heaven upon his own people, the unsaved Israelite soldiers. Satan has just reversed it by persecuting God's Elect within the Church. Daniel 8:24 describes this persecution or treading upon the Elect as destroying them.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Kings 1:14 Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
And deceiveth
Not once did it state that the First Beast had the power of deception. It is only this Second Beast that is stated to have the power of deception. And we all know who the father of lies is. It is Satan doing the deception as king.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
He had power to do (G4160)
Miracles can only be performed by a supernatural being such as the Lord or angels or through a prophet. Satan and his rebel angels have this power. We see this in witchcraft, ouji boards, dark magic, etc.. This Second Beast is able to have power to do miracles as Satan takes on the role of the king & the False Prophet.
Exodus 7:11-12 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
That they should make (G4160)
Again, God is showing us that this Second Beast king had the commanding authority to have the congregation ("in the sight of the beast") make an image.
Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Power to give life unto the image of the Beast
Here we see once again that he had the commanding power
And cause (G4160)
This Second Beast has the authority to "cause" those whom did not worship his image to be killed. Yet another declaration of the authority to execute commands. This is the treading upon of the Elect for the 2300 days (1988-1994) spoken of by Daniel.
Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
He causeth (G4160)
Again, a constant example of this Second Beast's commanding authority. To cause, make, give, power to do, exerciseth and power to deceive. All leadership qualities of a king. This "mark" is a sign of ownership.
Revelation 13:17-18 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
And that no man might buy or sell
This is the final command that is declared concerning this Second Beast. Scripturally, to buy or sell is a spiritual example of spreading the gospel. Only the unsaved will broadcast the corrupt gospel out of the Church now.
We can compare the mark, name and number of the Beast (a sign of ownership) to God's mark on His people...
Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
God's people are repreented as the 1/3 (33.3%). That leaves 2/3rds as Satan's people (66.6%). The number of the Beast = man 666.
Conclusion: All the evidence above shows that the Second Beast is Satan holding the title of king. Only the king can execute or command the power and authority of the kingdom. But this Second Beast does'nt just represent the king. It also represents the whole government hiarchy. The king, false prophet and lamb which are the satanic trinity.
1. The Second Beast came from the earth
Scripture declares that kings arise from the earth (Daniel 7).
2. The Second Beast arose from the earth
This matches Satan being loosed from the bottomless pit.
3. The Second Beast is not given anything
