THREE GREAT TRIBULATION KINGS DIE
Daniel 7:11-12

I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyedand given to the burning flame.   As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How can we determine when the above event occurred? 1988? 1994? 2011? End of Time? And what does it mean?
At first glance verse 11 seems to suggest that this will occur at the End of Time within the Lake of Fire... I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyedand given to the burning flame . But verse 12 declares this to not be the case because we then read... "As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken awayyet their lives were prolonged for a season and time". This shows there is a period of time between the beast being slain and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame and the rest of the beast's lives being prolonged for a season and time. Notice God states "the burning flame", not the Lake of Fire. So this clearly declares this is a judgment of some sort upon Satan & his kingdom at some point in time limiting or bringing his "power" to a halt.

Lets take a look at all 3 kings within all 3 great tribulations...

PHARAOH OF EGYPT

Under servitude to pharaoh
The Promised Land was in subjection to the Egyptian pharaoh. It was under servitude. Even though there was no war, the Egyptian pharaoh controlled the land of Canaan by way of food during the famine.

Gen 42:10  And they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants come.

God allows servitude
Genesis 45:8   So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

The food is merchandised/payment to pharaoh
Genesis 47:13-14  And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.  14 And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they boughtand Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

Genesis 41:57  And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.

PHARAOH OF EGYPT/KING OF BABYLON

Under servitude to pharaoh & the king
The Promised Land was in subjection (became a territory of) to first the Egyptian pharaoh then to the Babylonian king. It was under servitude. It was no longer sovereign.

2 Chronicles 35:20-23 (abridged)   After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Carchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him... and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo (21)... And the archers shot at king Josiah (22); ... and he died (23). At this point Judah was defeated.

2 Chronicles 36:1-3 (abridged)  Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem. ...and he reigned three months in Jerusalem (2). ...And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem... (3)

2 Chronicles 36-4-6 (abridged)  And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. ...Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon (6).

God allows servitude
2 Chronicles 35:21   But he (pharaoh) sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of JudahI come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have warfor God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.

Jeremiah 25:8-9 (abridged)  Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, 9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land

Judah is forced to pay tribute to pharaoh & king
2 Chronicles 36:3  (continued from above) ...and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.

2 Chronicles 36:7  Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
Church's Great Tribulation
The first 2300 days

KING OF BABYLON

Under servitude to king of Babylon
The Promised Land (Church) was in subjection (became a territory of) by the "man of sin", the King of Babylon, Satan. It was under servitude. It was no longer sovereign.

Daniel 7:7   After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Daniel 7:21   I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them

Daniel 8:9   And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

God allows servitude
Daniel 7:25   And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Daniel 8:13-14   Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

The Church is forced to pay tribute to the king of Babylon by way of merchandising the gospel (spiritual food)
Tribute is paid to Satan (King of Babylon) twofold, by the way of tithing and by way of "selling or merchandising" the gospel.

Revelation 13:17   And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The first 2300 Days - starting on the date of 1988
CONCLUSION

As we study the 3 examples of the first part of the great tribulations above, we find that the Promised Land which is represented as Canaan, Judah and the Church were all allowed by God Himself to be under subjection by the kings of Egypt & Babylon. They all had full reign. So we can surely know for a fact that 1988 can not be the date to which Daniel 7:11-12 is referring to.

Jacob's great tribulation
The 61 months

PHARAOH OF EGYPT

God's people did not buy the Egyptian food
Jacob never purchased the Egyptian food, the money was returned to them during the 23 months and Joseph freely supplied them food during the 61 months.

Genesis 42:25  Then Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man's money into his sack, and to give them provision for the way: and thus did he unto them.

Genesis 44:1  And he commanded the steward of his house, saying, Fill the men's sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put every man's money in his sack's mouth.

Genesis 45:11   And there will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.

Genesis 45:9  Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not

God's people come out of the Promised Land
With all God's people whom did not pay money to buy Egypt's food taken out, the Pharaoh now had total control of the Promised Land (Canaan).

Pharaoh has full servitude of the people

The people are held "captive"

Genesis 45:6   For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.

The second part of the great tribulation shows the famine continues and there is still no food inside the Promised Land. Egyptian subjection still continues.

Genesis 45:7  And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

These two verses above show that this second part Jacob and his family leave the Promised Land and no longer have to buy their food from Egypt. It is freely given. Just like the true gospel. All others must continue to buy their food from Egypt.

* The Promised Land is still under the pharaoh's subjection.
Judah's great tribulation
The 47 years

KING OF BABYLON

National Judah stopped paying tribute
2 Kings 24:1  In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.

(2 Kings 24:16  And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.

2 Chronicles 36:13  And he (Zedekiah) also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.

2 Chronicles 36:20  And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia

God's people come out of the Promised Land
With all of the people whom rebelled against Babylon taken out, the King of Babylon now had total control of the Promised Land (Judah).

The king has full servitude of the people

The people are held captive

Jeremiah 25:10-11   Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

The second part of the great tribulation shows the spiritual famine continues and there is still no spiritual food inside the Promised Land. In fact this second part is when all Judah leaves the Promised Land. It is now desolate of Jews and of the few remaining prophets that were there. It is spiritually dead and is under total control of the King of Babylon.

Lamentations 1:1   How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!

Only through affliction do His people call out to Him.

* The Promised Land is now under total control by the king of Babylon as the people of Judah come out.
The tribute is stopped. The king destroys with overwhelming power.
Church's Great Tribulation
The 6100 days

KING OF BABYLON

God's people did not "buy" the corrupt gospel
Revelation 18:1   And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory (1994).

Revelation 18:2   And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Revelation 18:3   For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Revelation 18:4   And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Revelation 13:17   And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. The Elect did not receive the mark therefore they did not "buy" the King of Babylon's merchandised corrupt gospel. They rebelled against the king's tribute.

God's people come out of the Promised Land
With all of the people whom rebelled and did not pay tribute to Babylon by not "buying" His corrupt gospel, taken out, the King of Babylon now had total control of the Promised Land (the Church).

The king has full servitude of the people

The 6100 Days - starting on the date of 1994
CONCLUSION

As we study the 3 examples of the second part of all the great tribulations above, we find that the Promised Land which is represented as Canaan, Judah and the Church continued to be under the rule of the Egyptian & Babylonian kings and that it actually increased to total control. They all had full reign. So we can surely know for a fact again that 1994 can not be the date to which Daniel 7:11-12 is referring to.

Jacob's great tribulation
The great tribulation ends

SERVITUDE TO THE KING ENDS

The great tribulation ends
Genesis 41:30   And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land

The total years of Jacob's great tribulation lasted 7 years which in turn equalled 84 months.

Captivity ends with the death of the Pharaoh
The Pharaoh of Egypt is defeated
Exodus 14:28   And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

Exodus 14:30   Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

* In Jacob's great tribulation, because their 5100 months were so vast there are actually two pharaohs that are associated with it. The pharaoh contemporary with Joseph and the pharaoh contemporary with Moses. Both pharaohs died and in both instances the Israelites were freed from captivity. In Joseph's time they were loosed or freed from depending on Egypt for their food because the famine had ended, yet they continued to stay. In Moses' time the Israelites were freed from physical slavery.

Judah's great tribulation

SERVITUDE TO THE KING ENDS

Jeremiah 25:11   And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

The total years of Judah's great tribulation lasted 70 years which in turn equalled 840 months.

The king of Babylon is defeated
2 Chronicles 36:20   And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia

Daniel 5:30-31   In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.

2 Chronicles 36:23   Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.

SERVITUDE TO THE KING ENDS

The great tribulation ends
Revelation 7:14   And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The total years of the Church's Great Tribulation lasted 23 years which in turn equalled 8400 days.

Captivity ends with the "death" of the King of Babylon
The king of Babylon (Satan) is defeated
Daniel 7:10-12   A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.  11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spakeI beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.  12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time

Daniel 7:26   But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Verse 26 actually explains what verses 10-12 are saying. The Interlinear Scripture Analyzer describes the word "dominion" as authority or jurisdiction. There is no death but instead the authority is taken away. What authority? Satan's authority over the people that were'nt saved but now are, they were captives to sin but all are now saved through salvation.

Isaiah 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenheartedto proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound

The third part of all 3 great tribulations...
2011 representing the start of our 5100 days
- the waiting period
Satan (as king) is defeated in 2011
His authority over the Elect to be is forever taken away

As we study the 3 examples of the third part of the great tribulations above we find that in each case God's people were no longer under captivity as the Egyptian pharaoh and the Babylonian kings died. But their kingdoms remained. All three instances show that although they were freed, they still lived within Satan's realm. In Jacob's instance they were freed but the Promised Land was ruled by many other nations. In Judah's instance they were freed but the Promised Land was still a territory of the Persian Empire (formerly the Babylonian Empire). In the Church's instance God's people were freed but the Promised Land (Church) is still under the unsaved's control and the world outside the Church (the world - Egypt... where the Elect reside) is under the control of the unsaved. So we can surely see that the year 2011 represents the year of when Satan "died" but his kingdom still remains until the End.

Satan's status

"Death" = no authority
But it appears that Satan was not actually killed outright. It's just a spiritual example relating to Satan's status. We can compare his "death" to the two witnesses' "death" in Revelation 11:7,

Revelation 11:7
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome themand kill them.

The Law and the Prophets (the Bible)/Elect did not physically or spiritually die during the 8400 Day Geat Tribulation. Their power/authority to spread the warning and salvation was trampled upon and silenced.

Now back to Satan...

Satan's status during the Church Age
We have another example of Satan receiving a death blow. The Bible declares that Satan's head had received a deadly wound during the Church Age which was from 33A.D. until 1988. This wound was extremely severe, "as it were wounded to death".

Revelation 13:3
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

What did this represent? And whom did it affect?

* It limited Satan's ability to thwart salvation to anyone that God chose to save.
The Church Age was a period of testimony from God. Satan's deadly wound represented God limiting his authority to thwart someone from getting saved. It was like a Chess game or a war game. He was allowed to put obstacles in the way (as in false teachers) but he could not stop someone from getting saved (Matthew 13:19).
* It affected unsaved individuals that God planned to save.
Those whom were not saved but planned to be saved at a future time by the Lord.
* It also took away Satan's ability to have and control a physical empire.
Before the Cross Satan had and controlled actual physical kingdoms. These kingdoms were the Assyrian Empire, Babylonian Empire, Persian Empire, Greek Empire & Roman Empire.

Satan's status during the 2300 Days
Satan's deadly wound was healed at the start of the Great Tribulation. He had full reign within the Church due to the fact that God had abandoned it.

Satan's status during the 6100 Days
A logical question can be asked, if Satan was dealt a severe death blow during the time of testimony of the Church Age and his deadly wound was healed during the 2300 days, why was'nt he given another death blow during the 6100 days of final testimony? The answer is found in Revelation 18:2 where we find that Satan was caged within the Church for the entire 6100 days, therefore he was unable to thwart any Elect-to-be from salvation outside the Church.

We have now covered Satan's status during the Church Age, the 2300 days & the 6100 days.

Satan's status during these final 5100 Days
Going back to the original verse of this whole topic:

Daniel 7:11-12
I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.   As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

The captivity ended when the final person was saved (either inside or outside of the womb) and was no longer a captive to sin on Judgment Day - May 21, 2011. This was when the authority of Satan's kingdom against the Elect was defeated. The authority of any kingdom comes from its king. But the unsaved kingdom continues worldwide. We see in Daniel 7:26 (below) that this occurs at Judgment Day as his dominion is consumed/destroyed.

Daniel 7:26  But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Romans 6:7-9   For he that is dead is freed from sin.  8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no moredeath hath no more dominion over him .

The word here in Romans, "dominion" also means to rule... another form of authority/jurisdiction. When a person is saved, Satan no longer has dominion over that person.

We find that God explains it a little further in the Book of Hebrews:

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the samethat through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil

This word "destroy" is the Greek word, katargeo (G2673). The meaning is to render entirely idle or useless.

So we can clearly see that the timing of Satan being "destroyed" at Judgment Day matches exactly with the previous 2 great tribulations of Jacob's and Judah's. And how the description of the words "destroy" coincide precisely with the release from captivity of the Elect - making Satan utterly useless because his war game of trying to prevent anyone from salvation is forever finished. His gig is up. Game over.

But what of the second part of the verse?

As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

What are these other beasts?

Reading Daniel chapter 7 we find that Satan's full kingdom throughout the Bible was represented as 4 beasts with 7 heads. The 7 heads are the representative kingdoms. These were representative of actual physical kingdoms such as the Assyrian Empire, the Babylonian Empire, the Persian Empire, Greek Empire and Roman Empire. He then had no empire (but was king) during the Church Age. But then attained the physical Church as his final 4th empire here on Earth, this is the 4th Beast.

This 4th kingdom has been conquered (the Beast slain/destroyed) on Judgment Day because God had saved every person that He had planned to save. But how can the 3 previous beasts with 6 heads of the other kingdoms (Assyrian/Babylonian/Persian/Greek/Roman/Church Age slain) still exist? Because all 4 beasts & heads represent Satan and his full empire. God is showing us that even though Satan was defeated his empire still exists worldwide... but without any authority over the Elect because all have now been saved.

This study also corresponds with the Book of Esther and the act of Purim. The Jews were freed from death as Esther (through the king) took away Haman's power (hung him) but his ten sons (his house) were allowed to remain alive until Purim. And we also see that even though the Jews were freed from death, they still remained outside their Promised Land. As we too are still here for a time.

Judgment Day - May 21, 2011 - (M21)  The gig is up. Satan has lost the game. Game over. There are no more people to thwart from salvation.
All Three Great Tribulation Kings Die

When we require biblical answers we must search the Bible for similar events to understand what the Lord is showing us. In this case we must look to the two former great tribulations to see where His Elect and Satan currently stand.

Three kings all in "sync".
