15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
The first part of the Final Great Tribulation - 2300 days (1988 - 1994)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
The commandment to leave the holyland - the Church - the 6100 Days (1994 - 2011)
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
This verse has a few spiritual meanings but essentially it's saying don't go back to the Church. Don't look back as Lot's wife did, yearning for the Church. The housetop has 2 meanings: spiritual authority and broadcasting the message
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
A continuation of the previous verse - the field is the world, the clothes represent what we are wearing spiritually. Forget your old "clothes", Jesus gives you a white robe to signify spiritual purity... not by your own deeds but by His Blood
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Warning to the Church (the mother)! The Church gives birth to believers (children) and nourishes them with spiritual food (gives suck)... but it is now corrupt - not used of God any longer
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Referring to verse 16, where we are commanded to leave the Church. The 50 year Jubilee of 1994 began the 6100 days (the 2nd part of this Final Great Tribulation). Those 6100 days represented a spiritual summer - when God (harvesting souls... saving the Great Multitude that no man could number. Those 6100 days ended on May 21, 2011 - Judgment Day. Summer had ended. Verse 20 here is warning that you'd better leave the Church before summer ends - before winter begins - before Judgment Day! Why? Summer is the growing season. At the end of summer all the crops are gathered... there is no sowing or reaping because it is now winter. Spiritually it indicates there is no more salvation going on. It's a very sad time of mourning
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Very important! Notice the two words, "For then..." these 2 words ARE NOT specifically referring to the first 2300 days as we had previously thought. Read it carefully... the first two words, "For then..." is referring to the immediate verse before it, which is verse 20.
What could be so devastating that has never happened before since Creation and to never happen again? From verse 20, we know that this period of time begins after M21. which is winter - waiting within the Ark - these 5100 days, therefore we are to also know that once again the Lord is referring to no salvation. Very devastating
The Lord is showing us - actually telling us that there are 3 parts to this Final Great Tribulation. The 1st and 2nd parts are the 8400 days of great tribulation within the Church (Rev. 2:20-22). But this 3rd part is the big wammy. This great tribulation period is like nothing seen before. This is after Judgment Day (M21) which engulfs the entire world for 5100 days.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Once again, THIS IS NOT referring to the first 2300 days of the Final Great Tribulation. Now that we correctly know what period of time verse 21 is referring to, we can now understand why God states He shortened these days otherwise no flesh be saved.
Remember, this is the period of time after M21. Israel remained within Egypt after their tribulation ended for an additional 425 years (5100 months). Our 5100 days after M21 match Jacob's 5100 months. If our 5100 days were 5100 months, all of the Elect would have died before the Lord came back for the Rapture.
That is why the Lord states, "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved", the word flesh here means just that in the greek, the flesh or physical body. The Lord is once again declaring that after M21 their simply is no more salvation going on. Otherwise, if salvation was still available, people would still be becoming saved. There would still be Elect to be raptured if we did indeed have to wait an additional 425 years. The realization of no salvation is not to be thought of as a light thing. It is devastating. This is why I was "on the fence" for 2 years even though all the proof was there.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Christ is no longer within the world. He is the Light. The Light is gone
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
With the Light of salvation gone, the World will flock to the false lights within the Church, as mosquitos are drawn to the light of an electric zapper. Again, a very sad time of mourning for the Elect knowing this truth
25 Behold, I have told you before.
"Behold" - other translation: Lo!
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
"Wherefore"- other translations: therefore, accordingly... this signifies that this verse is referring to the previous verses. "In the desert" or also translated as wilderness refers to the Church. John the Baptist and Jesus preached within the wilderness. It can also relate to outside the Church. "In the secret chambers" or inner chamber refers to the Temple, the Holy of Holies, the inner chamber of the Temple where the chief priest went once a year. Christ is in neither.
Compare this to Joel 2:16:
Joel 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
Joel 2 is speaking of the Latter Days. Specifically verse 16 here is referring to the 6100 days of salvation. Salvation was no longer "confined" to a building. It was now "outside" within the world. The Lord is not within the Church nor the Temple! Nor anywhere else after Judgment Day (M21).
Not only is Christ not within the Church or Temple/synagogue spiritually, He will not appear physically.
Both the Church and the Temple are expecting a physical coming of the Lord.
The Jews/Temple are still awaiting their Messiah to physically arrive and to lead national Israel as their ultimate King. Leading Israel once again into biblical power, peace and prosperity.
The Church is expecting a spiritual/physical Rapture of the saints but a physical arrival of Christ, to rule the nations here on Earth for a 1,000 years
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
The Lord is clearly stating here that His final return will not be a physical one torule the nations for 1,000 years. It will be spiritual, all at once - everywhere for the Rapture
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
This final verse is scary. It's the time period immediately after the Rapture - verse 27 above - all that's left here on Earth are the unsaved. This is how the Lord deems the final gathering/separation. No longer is it just a spiritual separation of the saved/unsaved - Grapes & Olives/no fruit harvest - but now it is a physical one. To be 'uncreated' and forgotten forever. Sorrow and hurt fill my heart. How long this period continues is not known. An immediate "flash" and done with? Minutes? Hours? Scripture declares it will happen quickly and that the Rapture & End of the World will both occur on the Last Day (Rev. 11:11-19/1 Corinthians 15:52). We just know it will be complete.
